The zebra

The zebras look like a horse. Their body is almost the same as a horse´s one, but the zebras have a short mane. They have white-black fur. They measure 106-155 cm at the shoulder.
The zebras live in Africa in the savannah, in Sudan and in the mountains of
southwest Africa.They eat grass and leaves, that means that they are plant eaters. In the savannah, where they live, there are lots of grass and leaves.
The zebras live in big groups called herds.
The Grevy's zebras also known as the Imperial zebras are the biggest in the world.
Zebras can live up to 20-40 years.
Their enemies are lions, leopards and hyenas.
The zebras can speed up to 40 km per hour.
Zebras are very sociable animals that can travel long distances to find grass and water. The zebras go almost every day to drink. They can live maximum three days without water.
