The leopard is part of the cat family. It lives in the savannah of Africa and Asia. It has yellow and golden fur with black spots.The leopard weighs up to 90 kg and has a length of one metre. The leopard eats zebras, giraffes and antelopes. It is very fast, it can run at speeds of 57 km per hour. When a female leopard is ready to mate ( to find a partner), she rubs her body on the trees to leave her smell there. She gives birth to two or three cubs. The cubs live with their mother for two years, then they will live alone.
