The Japanese spider crab

The Japanese spider crab lives in the waters of Japan. The ten legs can become up to two meters long. The Japanese spider crab weighs up to 19 kilograms. Its leg span is from claw to claw 3,8 metres. The body can reach a size of 40 centimetres. The skin of the Japanese spider crab is made of chalk. The colour of the crab is orange with white spots along the legs. The enemies of the Japanese spider crab are humans, octopuses and bigger spider crabs. The spider crab is an omnivor.
Crabzilla is the biggest Japanese spider crab alive in the world.
